A good, neat leaf blend with a trace of tip.  Blended
from  orthodox Assam Ceylon and African CTC teas.

Black Tea

Tea contains a very well made leaf with plenty of Silver
Tip (Denoting Quality).  The liquor is deep and rich
giving beautiful 1st flush character.

Darjeeling Mid Season….....……………..….2.20       3.50
Produced after the main monsoon season in Darjeeling
(July/August). Bright Liquor with full Darjeeling  
Character.

Lapsang Souchong (Osprey)……........…..2.20       3.50
This tea comes from the lower hills of Fujian Province in
eastern China. The tea grows in soil that naturally gives
it a slightly tarry character which is enhanced further
during processing by firing it over wood chippings.

Keemun (Tulip)………..……….………………...1.95       3.20
From the Anhui Province in China. Liqour is   
deep red with a full, slightly nutty character.

Yunnan (Black FOP)………………......……….1.95       3.20
Favored as a breakfast tea in China due to its malty
Assam like character. Liquour is rich and malty.

A distinctive tea from China that has been aged in caves
to give it its unique character. Leaf is neat black and the
liquor brown.

     The leaf is black with a little twist. Liquor is light and
     bright with a delicate sweet and light lemony flavor.

Flavoured Tea

A blend of China Keemun, China Green, Assam, Ceylon,
Darjeeling and Formosa Oolong scented with the oil  
from the Bergamot fruit. Liquor has a light citrus flavour.

The leaf is black and mixed with flowers and dried
mango giving the liquor a fruity refreshing quality.

Black tea mixed with marigold flowers, rose petals, red
thistle flowers, and mallow flowers.

From the Zhejian Province of China. The liquor is
emerald green and possesses a light, mellow liquor.

Hand rolled green and white leaves mixed with Jasmine
petals at the rolling stage of manufacture. The pearls
gently unravel as they steep and give off a delicate
Jasmine flavour.

and delicate Jasmine flavour.

Japanese Gyokuru ……...……………………...3.95       6.25
The growth of the plant is slowed by covering it with a blanket which results in more nutrients being pulled up from the soil. Leaf is needle like and gives a bright yellow liquor.

Oolong Tea

Formosa Oolong Top Fancy……………….3.95       6.25
Beautifully twisted speciality leaf. The tea is produced
with a light oxidization that gives it a unique rich and
flavoursome character.

Ti Kuan Yin (Toppest)……………..………….3.95       6.25
Also known as The Iron Goddess of Mercy. The
liquor is bright yellow with a beautifully rounded  
buttery character.

Pouchong

Formosa Pouchong………..…..…..…...……...2.20       3.50
Pouchong is only slightly oxidized during manufacture
to give it its unique flavour. The leaf is large, twisted and
dark green. The liquor has a delicate gardenia character.

Tisane

Produced on the Egyptian plains. Chamomile is revered
for its calming, soothing nature. The liquor is light and
bright with a distinctive taste.

The peppermint produces a cooling sensation, often
used to calm upset stomachs.

Mixed Red Berry Fruit Tea………………….1.95      3.20
A blend of herbs and fruit pieces that produce a deep
red liquor with a lovely fruit fragrance. Caffeine free.

Sometimes referred to as ‘Red Bush,’ this South African
grass is known for its antioxidant properties. The liquor
is bright and rich with a sweet character. Naturally
   caffeine free.
